On Making a Home

Making a Home

A girl can learn a lot about homemaking if her mom is a home economics teacher – and I did. And I definitely used that to my advantage for an easy "A" in domestic science. However, there's an awful lot more to making a home than they ever thought about teaching us in high school. I've learned a lot in the decades since I took that class, and I still love those domestic arts, but the reason I love them has changed.

These three things have become part of my calling as a wife, mother and maker of the home. I'm believing whole-heartedly that home needs to be:
  1. Safe
  2. Where we’re seen
  3. Where we’re secure
Join me over at Emily's place to learn more about the 3 things we really need to make our house a home?
